5-Lakes Tour A 200 km / 2000 Altitude

Tour A sets out for Wolfgangsee, detouring at Strobl to cross the first checkpoint at Postalm. After climbing 12 km (to a 12% gradient) the course leads downhill towards Abtenau, followed by a short flat stretch before climbing uphill over Pass Gschütt (Rußbach bis Gosau)  to Hallstättersee. The course continues through  Bad Ischl, to Ebensee and follows the Traunsee all the way to Altmünster. From there the course travels down Großalmstrasse, crossing another checkpoint, to the Attersee. Partially bypassing the Attersee the course continues to Nußdorf where the final mountain awaits. Thereafter the course takes a fairly flat route back to the finish line in Mondsee.
